Our mission is  to conserve natural resources, reduce material going into landfills and protect Oregon's environment through the development and implementation of waste reduction policies and programs.  Zero Waste Oregon supports policies that require manufacturers to account for environmental costs associated with the manufacturing of goods sold in Oregon.
